California’s public school system provides the best quality education at a very low price. Notary Public Class Curriculum is designed to instruct you to become an excellent field Notary Public and prepares you for the state Notary Public exam. I wish to thank the students who have attended my classes for the past 8 years, many of whom are from the legal community at large. State Superior Court Judges, Notary Bonding company attorneys, and many others who have attended and evaluated this basic course as "excellent." Weekend Classes Run 6-10 pm for 2 class sessions Saturday Classes Run 8 to 9 am ~ 4 to 5 pm. Afternoon Classes Please check school catalog for times. Exams Notary exam scoring process has changed per the Secretary of State. Beginning 2007, exam takers must now answer 28 of 30 questions correctly.   Self study is therefore critical to passing the exam. Recommissioning notaries must pass on the first take or face a minimum of 2 months delay in the renewal process. This critical aspect is not being announced by many notary education companies to classes.   I offer free-of-cost tutoring via email or telephone consultation to students who have attended my classes, both prior to the examination and after for assistance in memory refresher for notarization processes in the field when I am not engaged in teaching and other business matters. I have done this for 10 years, and you do not need to join any membership or other cost factors.   Additionally, the state notary examination company cannot guarantee the examination proctored in classes due to a statewide shortage of proctors for all companies instructing notary education. Student applicants will be provided with a location and dates sheet for the local exam site information in class per the state. Building Your Notary Business Class Curriculum includes: Everything you need to know to form a successful Notary Business. We start with a diagnostic exam, review of basic laws, new Laws, Mobile Notary principles, Loan Signing Notary principles, locating client companies, and peer group business planning discussions. I’m sure you’ll find this course a very busy and productive 4 hours. New Law Beginning July 1, 2005 Notary education will be mandated before taking the exam. Retroactive training received prior will not be accepted per the Secretary of State.

Purchase of the guide gives you free notarial guidance, and free legal updates annually so you never need to purchase another textbook ever!   The Sep - Dec 2007 notary exam dates and locations are linked for your seat reservations which are suggested but not required. Be aware the locations stating "Full" are reporting 50% NO-SHOWS. Exams are administered every Saturday morning at 8:30 or 10:30am in convenient locations near you. By taking the exam later after class keeps tuition low, affords you the time to prepare adequately, and you will have to pay for the exam each time you take it at your expense anyway. www.cps.ca.gov/TakeATest.notary   Examination availability is usually not a problem; however failing the exam will put you 2 months behind in obtaining your commission due to examination scoring backlog taking 2+ months, and 6-8 weeks in processing your commission.
